Bubble Pools (Remix)
thingiverse
A plane cut was used to remove the bubble pools from base, thanks to Lifeburn, so they could be reused with other terrain such as wargaming mats, neoprene mat cavern tiles, and rigid insulation. The cavern tile in the photo was created using DM Scotty's Tilescapes #14 technique on YouTube - just search for it. Other scatter terrain includes Hirst Arts Water Cavern Mold #82. There is a small hole under one of the pillars or bubble pools on one of them after I plane cut it with Mesh Mixer. I printed with supports, and there were no problems. Base Coat: Espresso Brown was applied. A Sponge/Stipple Brush Coat (Light) was applied using Burnt Sienna. A Sponge/Stipple Brush Coat (Heavier) was also applied using Cocoa, with some dry brushing on the second pass. Finally, a Dry Brush was used with very little paint left on it to apply a mix of Cocoa and Snow White.
