Bubble Eliminator 9000

I ordered a skateboard online and grip tape, but I needed a way to apply it smoothly without any bubbles. I saw a tool similar to this being used at a skate shop when I got my last deck and thought I could design and create one myself. It worked well for me; if you notice any bubbles in your grip tape after application, poke a hole in the center with a razor blade and roll it out. I'm glad this helps you out; I've attached the Fusion 360 file so you can edit or learn how I created this tool. You'll need 5/16 hardware and 608 skate bearings to make this work. The bearings don't have to be high-quality, but a shouldered bolt for the axle is recommended, even though it's not required. You'll also want to trim the end of the bolt used as the axle, but again, it's not necessary. Good luck with your project. This design is under a non-commercial license; I don't want people printing this out and selling them, but you're welcome to print it for use in your skate shop. If you find this tool helpful, please consider donating.
