Bubble dome for Sony X-3000 action camera

If you would like a Commercial License to sell prints made from these designs, please join me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/kazitoadThis model allows you to take over/under split photos at the water level with your Sony X-3000 (or similar) action camera. A cheap “replacement” dome is used for the front bubble, and is connected to the existing Sony underwater housing with the printed parts. The water-tight seal in the front is created around the dome with the o-ring compressed by twelve M4 bolts, and the back seal is created by compressing a 2mm thick homemade silicone gasket with four M3 bolts. The silicone gasket was cut out of a 2 mm thick sheet, with outer dimensions of 48 x 36 mm and a inner dimensions of 40 x 28 mm. The parts used are as follows:(Qty 1) Dome (Qty 12) M4x12 bolts(Qty 12) M4 lock nuts(Qty 4) M3x10 bolts(Qty 4) M3 threaded inserts (Qty 1) 2mm thick silicone gasket The pistol grip for this camera is linked here. The parts should be printed in PETG (or ABS) with a large nozzle and layer height (0.8mm & 0.3mm respectively) and 100% infill provide strength and limit the chance of water entering the housing.  Please let me know if you have any questions, I will gladly share more details about this project. Stay tuned for more pictures, I will test it out in better lighting conditions.
