BTT V1 Runout Sensor Bracket for Bed-Side of Ender 3 Extruder

The BTT-recommended placement is to put the sensor between the extruder and the hot end, which I prefer because then one doesn't have to fuss with feeding the filament through an additional hole each time.The problem with that arrangement is the (heavy) sensor waves about, putting stress on the bowden tubes and extruder interface. But although there are several excellent brackets on Thingiverse, all of them appear to be for mounting between the reel and the extruder.This post-extruder bracket cradles it solid, especially if you (optional) zip-tie the bottom ends to the extruder motor and/or the sensor.The bracket attaches to the extruder using only (unless you also zip-tie it) the existing M3 extruder-to-motor screw on the front right side, though I used a longer screw and washer. It installs with the sensor already in place, but the cable must be disconnected to fit the ring past and above the socket. This design presumes there is only ~1mm of bowden tube showing between the extruder and the sensor couplers (to keep the whole arrangement as tight and stable as possible), so you'll have to stretch it if - for whatever reason - you want your sensor to be any further than that (as BTT would have you do it).No supports needed. Designed for Ender 3 extruder.I used bright green filament only to make it easier to see in the photos. My permanent one is black, as I typically only use colour on parts to be touched or avoided so my attention goes only where needed and the printer doesn't look any more like a circus than need be.
