BTT Smart Filament Sensor Mounting Bracket for Micro-Swiss Direct Drive Kit With Wrapping Legs and Optional Cable Chain Connector
thingiverse
I needed a way to put my Big Tech Tree Smart Filiment Sensor at the top of my Micro Swiss Direct Drive extruder. In addition, I wanted to attach my X-Axis cable chain to it as well. Since this needed to be a solid connection, I remixed this from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4683117 And added full legs with feet that wrap around the corners of the bottom. This package contains two stl files. One for the adapter without the cable chain connector and one with so that you may use it in the format you need. I have also included the source files I used. I'm a Linux guy so FreeCad was the obvious choice. This is my first attempt with a 3D model so be gentle ;). If you have any thoughts on ways it can be approved, please let me know and I would be more than happy to try to accommodate. I did print this with a raft and Tree Supports, especially for the front bridge. The raft isn't necessary as there is a large surface area, but i was concerned about how my printer likes to warp the hard edges. To install, I pulled the legs apart a bit and there was just enough give to get them over the stepper motor and put the piece down until it clicked in.
