[BTT] Smart Filament Sensor mount and pass thru IKEA LACK table

<p>I've designed a mount for the smart filament sensor from BigTreeTech (BTT), so I can put a dry box on the ikea enclosure and feed the filament directly into my hotend.</p> <p>What do you need:</p> <ul> <li><p>Smart Filament Sensor from BigTreeTech (longer screws are in the box from BTT) <strong>*25mm</strong> hole/drill in the IKEA lack table I've designed in that way, that you screw the mount with the filament sensor on the pass thru. They both got a thread so you dont need anything else. It holds pretty good for me.</p> <p>Please make sure that you print the thread in a small layer height (recommended: adaptive layer height, so you got a lower LH at the thread, and then a bigger one to save a lot print time).</p> <p>### Installation</p> <ol> <li>print both parts</li> <li>remove 2 screws from the filament sensor (both middle ones)</li> <li>take the longer provided screws from BTT and mount it on the plate</li> <li>drill 25mm hole in the ikea table</li> <li>insert passThru</li> <li>cut PTFE tube to needed length</li> <li>align the mount on the passThru, make sure the PTFE tube comes out</li> <li>screw the mount carefully on the passThru,<strong>do not overtighten, or you'll break the thread</strong></li> </ol> </li> </ul> Category: 3D Printer Accessories
