BTT Ocotpus enclosure for Ender 3
prusaprinters
This remix is for using a BTT Octopus on a standard Ender 3. I also found that my printer varied from the 3D models on Creality's github, so I made some changes to make it fit my actual printer. You do need some T-nuts to install this, but you may be able to replace it with a printed insert and thread into that instead. These nuts go into the bottom of the Y axis.I also added clearance for larger stepper driver coolers in the box, and tried to add more support under the board underneath the drivers and the motor connectors. The board itself is a bit light on mounting holes so when plugging in the drivers, the board deflects more than I would light. You no need supports on the 2 hole flange and on the underside of the Y axis mount. You shouldn't need any on the IO panel.I also opened up the slot on the side to make it easier to get the LCD cable through it, and the slot on top so I could pass additional wires through it.I'll also share my marlin config if you need it.Remixed from thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5020604
