The BTR-90 (GAZ-5923) is a robust 8×8 wheeled armoured personnel carrier designed by Russia in 1993, unveiled to the public for the first time in 1994. This model can be purchased at -link removed-. Built on the foundation of the BTR-80 vehicle, the BTR-90 features a BMP-2 turret and significantly enhanced armour protection, safeguarding against 14.5 mm projectiles from the front. The vehicle is equipped with a potent 2A42 30 mm auto cannon, a coaxial 7.62 mm PKT machine gun, an AT-5 Spandrel ATGM, as well as an AGS-17 30 mm automatic grenade launcher. Although limited quantities have been produced, the BTR-90 is operational with Russian Internal Troops.
