BT-60 AV Bay MK2
thingiverse
This is a MK2 version of my original BT-60 Av bay, which may look similar to the original but is effectively a brand-new design from scratch. Why you might ask?: Well the 1st version worked extremely well as a proof of concept and in flight performed flawlessly but from a 3D printing perspective was utterly disappointing, requiring far too much support material and once printed, the support material proved difficult to remove without breaking the part. The New design utilizes all the same hardware as the original but the printed parts are now significantly more printer-friendly with tolerances adjusted slightly. You still need to print it with support from the build plate due to the step out to the exterior body tube diameter but importantly, it is only a small amount of support and very easy to remove. This design is intended for an Eggtimer Quark using a 2.5mm power jack as a switch and power from a 1 Cell 250mAh LIPO (the sort used in micro quad copters like the Inductrix). Parts List: 1- M4 threaded rod 2 -M4 eye bolts 2- M3 well nuts 1- 2.5mm Power Jack 1- Eggtimer Quark Electrical Wire Electrical connectors of your choice Battery of your choice ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: I have added sleds with mounts for the Stratologger CF and the RRC2+ altimeters.
