This adapter fits a British Standard Pipe Parallel (DIN ISO 228/DIN 259) G1 1/2'' thread for attaching a 38mm hose, often used in swimming pool filters. The OpenSCAD file is provided for alternative thread/hose diameters. Print without supports at a resolution of 0.15mm and 100% infill using ABS filament with a shell thickness of 1.2mm. Customize the module by commenting out unnecessary types, adjust settings, and refer to the Whitworth threads table in the file for guidance. Calibrate the model by resetting correction factors (cFact1 and cFact2) to 1.0, printing layers of both hose and thread sides, and determining the real-world values' relationship with CAD model data.
