Bryan Cera's Custom Chess Set

Created as a custom holiday present for my dad, this unique set of chess pieces was co-designed with the help of my brother Joe. The pieces feature .72" diameter ceramic magnets to keep them in place and include 8-32 and 1/4-20 acorn nuts for added industrial flair. An exploded diagram photo is provided for reference. The chessboard consists of eight-inch x 1.5" laser cut acrylic squares glued onto a 12"x12" steel plate purchased from Home Depot. The knight was inspired by a sea-horse, while the bishop resembles an actual mitre hat instead of the traditional piece. Have a great time using this custom set!
