thingiverse
This brushless mount adapter, designed for Eflite 450 Outrunner motor, enhances a Hobbyzone Supercub RC airplane's performance by providing significantly more power than its stock brushed motor. Vertical climbs are now possible due to this upgrade. To assemble, print both parts together using acetone and follow the provided instructions. The long legs on the aft mount point downward, while wide holes on the forward part are positioned below close holes. For reference, see the attached photo. Attach the motor with 3 mm x 20 mm bolts and lock nuts, and use stock screws to securely fasten the mount to the firewall. The forward mount design is available in a Sketchup file, while the aft mount's geometry was created using ANSYS Workbench, which can be accessed through an attached .mac file - ansys_2_stl_append_130131.mac. This file can be found in the downloads section for thing 50851 (corrected #).
