Brushless motor mount
thingiverse
Create a mount for a 2830-sized brushless motor using the following instructions: Print it on your Prusa Mendel with 0.2 mm layer height (0.4 mm for the first layer). Expect some initial issues with the first layer hole, but subsequent layers should print smoothly. Upload the .ipt file for adjustments if needed. Ensure you measure your motor size correctly before printing, as an additional aluminum mount is required. The oval hole fits 3.5mm bullet connectors tightly. Insert cables individually to fit them through. You will need: 1 of each plate, 6 M3x35 bolts, 4 M3x10 screws, 16 M3 washers, and 10 M3 nylock nuts for ziptie motor cable management. Unused screws in pictures are just placeholders. This setup is untested as I await parts. If you have suggestions or improvements, please share!
