Brushless Gimbal
thingiverse
A brushless gimbal enhances any multi-rotor to become an advanced aerial photography platform. It counteracts even the slightest attitude changes, delivering remarkable results. Compatible with both quadcopters and tricopters, this custom-designed gimbal features updated motor mounts and battery tray support for added durability. Check out the Vimeo link for a video showcasing its capabilities. Several updates have been made to the gimbal, including an 1/8th offset for lens centering on the quadcopter's longitudinal axis. A video of BASE jumping has also been uploaded for those curious about a gimbal's performance. The latest modification includes a GoPro3 case and lock nuts in the arm for easier attachment. To assemble the gimbal, print the parts with 10% infill as it doesn't require high strength. It uses T-motor 2208 brushless motors and SimpleBGC by AlexMos software, which can be found on basecamelectronics.com along with instructions and GUI.
