This project features my first brushless gimbal for a Mobius camera, equipped with RCTimer's 2804-100T motors and a 2-axis brushless gimbal controller & IMU v1.0. Supporting components include anti-vibration rubber balls from RCTimer, 8x4x3 mm ball bearings, and M4 x 10 mm bolts and nuts. The controller software can be found at http://sourceforge.net/projects/brushless-gimbal-brugi/. Check out these videos to see the gimbal in action: youtu.be/fo5YV5kvk_Q, youtu.be/WvwDGBNRNxs, youtu.be/uUQwaLmqgO4, and youtu.be/MbdtZ-Mk_3E. Updates include arm2_final_v2 for additional sensor module space, arm1_final_v2 with reduced roll imbalance, and arm3_final_v2 with a zip tie hole (idea by marhar). Assembly is straightforward: print the three arms, insert the ball bearing, attach the motions sensors and motors. Upload the software, set motor numbers and rotation directions, and optimize PID settings using CREO Elements Express 3D CAD files available for download.
