brushed sparky motor mount and landing gear
thingiverse
This is a brand new motor mount designed specifically for the Brushed Sparky. I created this replacement part because the original one didn't fit properly due to being too loose. Furthermore, I was unable to attach the landing gear because it broke during the mounting process. To address these issues, I designed a completely new motor mount and landing gear. These parts are secured using two M2 screws. To eliminate the need for a nut, I added a thread to the landing gear. If desired, you can drill out the hole slightly larger and use a nut instead. There are two motor mount files available: one is labeled "motormount-85" with an 8.5mm hole, while the other is labeled "motormount-88" with an 8.8mm hole. I had to print using the 8.8mm hole because my printer consistently undercuts holes by 0.3mm. I'm not sure how this will affect prints on other machines, so I've included both versions. The original motors have a diameter of 8.5mm. Additionally, I've uploaded STEP files for easy modification of the design. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.1 mm Infill: 25% Notes: This part was printed in ABS plastic.
