#BRUSHED POOL NOODLE BOAT ##CAMERA PLATFORM | RESCUE BOAT ## ##videos: - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aq865Tgr7k <- dual motor air boat video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDnltlbIZjs <- single motor air boat video - https://youtu.be/MKofq7PA81E?si=Q4l-31wMoljhNokU <- single motor air boat rescue missions video - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmT4TRfbBJcWfTXTXyNyaaQ <- my YouTube channel ## ##single or dual motor design: - Here's the other two air boat designs I made for 65mm Ø Pool Noodles. They are a smaller, brushed, air-cooled version of my larger [brushless water-cooled air boat](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6050129) design. - Single motor design uses a low profile servo (~41 x 21 x 28mm) for steering, dual motor design requires a mixer for combining throttle and steering. - Struts are hollow structured for stability and are the same for both models - optional battery case parts included to build a 2S3P battery which will snug fit in the first single motor design fuselage. edit: added fuselage w closed bottom to use your own battery - single design has 6x, dual design has 2x 1/4" UNC 20 threaded holes printed right into the model for mounting additional cam or FPV etc. (might need to screw bolt a few times after print) - integrated protection duct for 2.4GHz antenna - Integrated sturdy front gopro buckle mount on both designs. (pics show [my gopro extensions](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6049249)) - Includes tools for cutting/drilling pool noodles accurately. pro tip: use old telescope antenna segments with the drillhelp to drill clean holes for struts. - edit: added an image of how to use the round-cutting tool. I strongly recommend to assemble the boat completely before cutting the ends to make sure it aligns perfectly with the water line. - parts should be printed in the orientation shown - distance betweeen struts is 110mm / model weight RTR ~800g - dual full throttle: ~10A / 75W @ 6x4.5" propellers | single full throttle: ~5.3A 42W @ 6x6" propeller ## ##additional parts: - 370 sized 12V brushed Motors (CHR-RD370) - 2S3P 7,4V Lipo battery 6x Samsung 30Q 18650 (single) 9000mAh x 7,4V = 66,6 Wh - 2S2P 7,4V Lipo battery 4x Samsung 40T 21700 (dual) 8000mAh x 7,4V = 59,2 Wh - 6x4.5" propellers cw/ccw (dual) | 6x6" propeller (single) - M4 rivets (see image) should be secured with epoxy - M4 screws >= 20mm (grub screws or screws of your choice) - 2x DILWE 40A brushed ESC (dual) / 1x Hobbywing Quicrun WP-1620 ESC (single) - Hot-RC DS-600 6ch 2,4GHz Transmitter/Receiver. (already has a built in mixing function for throttle and steering) ## Please feel free to ask any questions in the comments section!
