Brushed FPV Microquad

Brushed FPV Microquad

My latest brushed microquad design packs a punch in an incredibly compact package that still accommodates Beef's Brushed Board 8.5mm motors and 2.5" props - the rolling spider props fit snugly as well, though it's a tight squeeze. To house these components, I crafted a sleek 100mm MTM pod-like design that puts the Quanum Elite Micro Camera/vtx combo from HobbyKing front and center (a fantastic piece of electronics!). The camera angle is adjustable, providing flexibility in capturing footage. Although it tips the scales at 73g AUW with a 750mah battery, this microquad flies smoothly. As it stands now, I'm considering tweaking the top to minimize the overall height and offer better protection for the camera/antenna. To assemble this build, you'll need four nylon standoffs and four 6-8mm long M2 screws. Additionally, four more nylon standoffs can be repurposed as landing gear to safeguard the battery. The battery is secured in place with two small rubber bands. Print Settings: Printer: Velleman Vertex K8400 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 50%
