Brush & Safety Razor Hanger
thingiverse
For some time, I have used a small metal stand to hang my brush and razor. However, I realized that the space-consuming design could be improved by hanging it under a shelf in my medicine cabinet. To construct this new setup, follow these steps. First, print two parts of the design, then secure them together using a large woodscrew or a tap and machine screw (I used extra M5 screws from my Mendelmax build). The hanger hole is 5.4mm in diameter, while the mounting bracket hole is 4.2mm in diameter and 15mm deep. Next, use small woodscrews or bolts to secure the hanger to the underside of a shelf. Alternatively, you can use magnets for metal shelves or double-sided tape for glass shelves. I initially used a two-screw mount but found it flimsy, so I upgraded to a three-screw mount. Feel free to customize the design as per your preferences. A user named Thav pointed out a potential issue with the hanger, so I increased the height of the catch nubs for better stability and uploaded version 3. You can find Thav's alternative version here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:29504.
