Features:Gravity-fed water tank: Clean your brushes with fresh water from the top tank.Realistic flush mechanism: Press the valve to send dirty water into the bottom tank.Kid-friendly design: Makes the cleanup process entertaining and engaging. Non-Printed Parts:0.7x7x20mm 10 lap springAleene's Acrylic Sealer Matte Finish - Helps seal the PLA and make it easy to clean up after painting.Optional, thin rubber and glue - if you cannot get a good seal with your PLA, then I would recommend gluing on a very thin piece of rubber to the valve. Important Notes and Prerequisites: This is just a beta version as many people have been asking to get the files. With that said, please be kind and constructive on the feedback so we can make the version even better. One of the bigger challenges with this one is ensuring that there is a good seal between the valve and the bottom of the lid piece. To get a good seal without gluing on rubber, I recommend having various grades of sandpaper and print on a Smooth PEI Plate. You may only get 10-12 flushes depending on how much water you drain with each flush. I can see having a larger version of the tank in a future update. Assembly & Instructions:Printing: Once you print out all of the parts based on the print profile, the assembly is very easy! Depending on the quality of your printer settings and filament, you may need to sand the top of the valve. Please consider using the clear acrylic spray mentioned above to ensure your brush cleaner is easy to clean. Install Spring: Start by putting the spring on the shaft in the middle of the toilet bowl base. Install Valve: Push the long valve piece into the rectangular hole in the inside front of the toilet bowl base. This will be a precision fit to ensure it stays snug. Give it a push and it will slide in. Once it's in, ensure the spring aligns with the hole in the bottom. Place Lid: Next, place the lid on top of the toilet bowl base. Filling Up the Tank: Fill the toilet tank upside down in the sink or from a garden hose. Fill to about ¾ of the way full, carefully and quickly tilt it onto the lid, ensuring minimal water splashes out. You will notice the lid has alignment pegs that make it easy to center the tank. If the bottom tank is empty, I recommend tilting all of the pieces at the same time to avoid water splashing out. Install Flush Rod Insert and Rod: Slide in the flush rod insert at the top of the tank. This helps keep the rod aligned and makes for a more finished look. Finally, slide the rod down and try the valve to see the water flow from the bowl to the base. Clean Your Brushes: Dip your brush in the bowl and when it's all clean, press the flush button! 🙂 Clean Up the Toilet: When you're done, take all of the pieces apart and wash and dry thoroughly. Do not store this wet.Feedback WelcomeI am excited to share the Brush Flush with you and look forward to hearing your feedback to make it even better.
