bruiser hg p407 steering servo mount
thingiverse
This is a steering servo mount tailored specifically for the Tamiya Bruiser or its HG P407 clone, allowing you to reposition your steering servo at the front of the truck and minimize linkages and slop within the steering system. The servo stands nearly vertically, permitting easy removal of the motor if necessary. Initially, I had envisioned the servo positioned horizontally beneath, but unfortunately, this setup would consistently result in the servo horn colliding with the differential casing whenever the suspension was compressed. This revised design offers a superior solution. To install, you will need to dismantle the front end and remove the existing front plate, which will then be replaced by this mount. It is designed to accommodate a standard servo and features an alloy servo horn and rod measuring 90mm from center to center. Some longer screws might also be required during installation, as I have deliberately designed the mount so that the screws can tap their own threads as they are screwed in place.
