Overview and Background Lesson Plan and Activity Project 3: 2D Art Problem Statement: With a partner, you'll design a "2D" placard using Solidworks. You and your partner will have the same design that meets the constraints below. Each of you will use Solidworks to create your own unique design. Constraints: * No error messages appear. * The part is centered about the origin point. * Efficient use of construction lines is demonstrated. * Efficient use of automatic and manual relations is shown. * Efficient use of Smart Dimensions is used. Project Requirements: You and your partner must develop a plan for recreating your figure together. Each person will draw a 1x scale front view of their design. The drawing should include all dimensions and reference lines used. A bulleted or numbered list of the order you'll create your sketch should be updated as you work through completing your design. This plan must be approved before starting to make your figure in Solidworks. Once you begin creating your models, you and your partner must work together at the same pace. Don't move on to the next step until you've checked in with each other and you're both ready to proceed to the next step. Each person should submit their completed Solidworks file at the end of the project.
