When cardboard is placed on top of each tray, everything remains flush, making it easy to store games horizontally or vertically without issues. The side slot in the card trays is designed to hold an extra draw pile during gameplay. If a gamer has the City of Zwin expansion, they should print one of each - but if not, the expansion round trays can be omitted altogether.
