Another extension for the excavator :-) The ball-and-socket joint is to increase the flat working area depending on the type of excavator you/ your kids have and also to reduce the mechanical stress of compacting your living room floor etc. The ball joint and also the snap mount of the "motor" is a tight fit. Depending on your printer calibriation you might have to file a little. The base plate have to be orientated sidwards on the print bed to have the correct layer orintation of the spring part. The belt on the motor is a 13x2mm O-ring.... or just bent filament.
