Bruce anchor (master model for casting)
cults3d
A 7.5 kg anchor master model for obtaining anchor casting by casting with subsequent machining (see photo). The model can be easily scaled to the desired size. Bruce anchor - rodless one-horned anchor of increased holding power, developed by the Scottish firm "Bruce anchor ltd. It is a modification of the Admiralty-type one-horned anchor. The flat paw of Bruce's anchor is equipped with peculiar bends, which allows him to dig into the ground even if he falls to the bottom sideways. The inner side of the spindle of this anchor, facing the paw, is pointed like the cutting edge of a sword, which allows it to easily enter the ground. The Bruce anchor, produced in large weight categories, is used mainly as a "dead anchor" and serves to ensure long-term parking of floating lighthouses, navigation signs, raid anchor barrels, oil platforms and other floating objects. However, due to the preservation of a large holding force and in small weight categories, this anchor is popular as a stand for small vessels (boats, tugs, yachts, boats). Bruce anchors or "plough" of the same size, made of steel and aluminum, have almost the same holding force, despite the different weight.
