Browning 1911-380 Front Sight
thingiverse
A lot of people have been looking for aftermarket sights for their Browning 1911-380, but what they're finding is that most manufacturers don't make them compatible with this model. This means if someone wants a fiber-optic sight, it's going to have to be made from scratch at home. First things first, you're going to need a heat source to attach the new sights to your gun. A hot nail or the tip of a soldering iron works perfectly for this job. You can also use that same heat source to secure the fiber-optic rod in place - just make sure it's 0.060" or 1.5mm thick. One thing to keep in mind is that these new sights are going to require some installation work on your part, which means you'll need to remove the existing supports before you can put them in.
