Browning 1911-380 Front Sight

The original Browning 1911-380 arrived with the sights borrowed from 1911-22. The industry does not make sights compatible with these models. So, if one wants a fiber-optic sight, it must be made at home. Installation requires a point tip source, such as a hot nail or a tip of a soldering iron. Same heat source can be used to affix the fiber rod. Use 0.060" or 1.5mm rods. The design includes supports that must be removed.
