A miniature replica of Trench 08 (2 x 2m) at Moses Brown School in Providence, Rhode Island, was carefully excavated by a team of dedicated undergraduate students from Brown University's ARCH1900: The Archaeology of College Hill course. This detailed model showcases a pivotal area within the former home of A. Albert Sack, a German immigrant who arrived in Rhode Island with big dreams and built his house in 1884 using profits generated by several successful wool mills in the region. Unfortunately, the home was torn down in 1939, and its property was later incorporated into Moses Brown School's grounds. Since 2015, the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology and the Ancient World has been diligently excavating the site, unearthing a wealth of material culture that was used to fill in the trenches after the demolition, including substantial amounts of wall rubble, brick fragments, asphalt remnants, slate tile pieces, and rich soil.
