The Brother QL 570 is a small printer label that uses black mark backed stickers and there are a variety of types and they work by either depressing (or not) the buttons at the base of the main machine. I have designed my prototype to have a base plate that is solid with 0.5mm guide holes in them to match the type of sticker roll that you would be loading in your machine and if you drill out the corresponding pattern to the sticker roll you would be able to 'fool' the machine a genuine roll holder was inserted; for example, the 201 sticker roll has x4 holes in its plate and if you use a 1/8 inch drill bit into the correct guide holes it will succeed.
