Bror corner - spool holder
thingiverse
I needed a solution to hang my filament spools in my IKEA Bror. I modified a piece made by @ML_404, which is a corner bracket with the correct dimensions of the bror's corner. I simply added a slot for an M8 threaded rod. A threaded rod was chosen because simple spool holders and some M8 nuts were used to keep them stable. If you prefer to leave the spools as they are, you can even use a plain rod without threads. This design actually presses the bracket into the corner so that no bolt or nut is needed to keep it from moving. There are, however, holes for the original nuts and bolts from IKEA. The slot for the rod is quite tight so it doesn't move while the spools are rotating. It's also 25 mm deep so it can accommodate any rod (M8 of course) from 48 to 52 cm. There are two files, one for the right corner and one for the left corner. Obviously, you'll need both.
