This is a customizable hook designed specifically for attaching to a broom handle or extensible rod using a US standard female thread. The primary intention behind creating this hook is to facilitate the retrieval of kites stuck in trees. For durability and reliability, I strongly suggest utilizing ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) as the preferred material. To ensure smooth attachment without any overhangs, the hook can be split into two halves, eliminating the need for additional support. The halves are then securely bonded together using ABS adhesive, providing a robust and long-lasting connection. Additionally, when attaching the hook to its threaded base, I recommend utilizing ABS once again to ensure a strong and secure bond.
