Broomstick Filament Holder Thing

Broomstick Filament Holder Thing

After about one and half years of faithful service, my old filament holder thing finally gave out due to me overloading it and using it in an orientation for which it was never designed. (The old holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1427114) So I made some new holders that use 8mm threaded rod in the place where it is likely to break. As a bonus, these will print in a quarter of the time and use less PLA. The holders have a base screw distance of 25x30mm and M4 sized screw holes. The base comes with built-in angled supports that can be broken off with some force if you want to counter-screw the rods into place. Gravity will hold the rods in fine, though. You can always adjust the scad files to your liking. This design should be compatible with my modified ctc i3 pro Prusa Z axis Bracket (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1853350), but I no longer use that part in a printer and only used this for a quick test with the bare part.
