Area of outcropping on Hunter's Moor, near Ford, Northumberland, known as Broom Ridge (OS name). This is one of several areas featuring carved outcrop on Broom Ridge/Broomridge, situated just north of the escarpment. The carving 'Broomridge 3' in the Beckensall Archive (BA) is described as: On the north slope of the outcrop, a cup with three irregular concentric rings and traces of a fourth is found, surrounded by a large arc encompassing much of this central motif. It's difficult to locate because it's usually covered in grass and very faint. The record was added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008.
