BROOMHOLDA!

Have you noticed that space between the refrigerator and the wall where you stick your broom, but the broom keeps falling down or out of it? Use the two-piece Broomholda to keep that broom right where you want it until you need to easily slide it back out! Print these two pieces out then hot glue them to your broom and refrigerator. My broom has its brush cut at an angle, so orient it so that it naturally falls over towards the back of the fridge. I designed this for a .85" diameter broom stock. Let me know if you want another size added! The story continues... Lena was exhausted after a long day of cleaning the royal chambers and sweeping furiously throughout the palace. The monarch had recently joined the local kingdom's fresh produce club and "volunteered" his servants to divide up the various fruits and vegetables for each lord and lady. At first, the nobles respected the rules of the kingdom, being courteous and brief in their requests and visits. As time passed, however, the royalty found new ways to complain about the food distribution, how quickly the servants could prepare it, and if placing the dishes on the royal porch was acceptable to them or if they had to be at the bottom of the stairs. The monarch grew angry with his subjects, suspecting they had become spoiled in ways that the food could not. Not wanting to spend his servant's time figuring out the exact right combination of foods for each particular lord or lady, (Of whom he had barely met outside of this royal co-op) he decided to allow his servants to arrange the food in a location favoring the monarch's proximity. He chose right inside the palace door, the one that swung quickly and heavily. With convenience for the monarch came turmoil. From turmoil came dissent. From dissent came dirt and dust that the unkempt lords and ladies brought in. Something was amiss in the kingdom for Lena, and it wasn't the beets. Grabbing the food for the monarch, she rushed into the kitchen, searching for the lord's royal broom. Not realizing the broom had been carelessly stored in that space between the royal ice box and the palace wall, Lena tripped over the broom that had fallen out of that crevice, *THUNK* The damage was done. She had collapsed on the floor, spilling the remainder of the food on the dirty and dusty floor. The monarch entered, gazing upon his servant and his food. He was looking forward to his royal radishes and cucumbers, and the sight of them on the floor gave him pause, recognizing change needed to come to his kitchen. From the nearby window, he heard a boy yelling "Hold the door," repeating over and over again that someone should probably hold the door for the ungrateful masses that wanted to go inside to grab their food. Tired, the boy started to slur his speech. The Monarch questioned why he was so concerned with the stupid food people. They could open their own bloody door. Maybe he should give that boy a new title based on the racket he was making, something like "HOLDOOR.." It would please the monarch, but he wasn't exactly right next to the boy at the moment and it wouldn't have had the right comedic timing. Crestfallen over the lack of naming convenience, the monarch focused back on the crisis at hand. Hopefully someone else would come up with a nickname for him. Such a missed opportunity. Lena exclaimed over and over saying "You know what we need? A broom holder!" "What was that?" the monarch said, hard of hearing. "A Boom holder!" "Come again?" "BROOM HOLDER BROOM HOLDER BROOMHOLDER BROOMHOLDA!" Feeling as if he had stumbled into something as Lena had, the monarch had an idea. "You wish to be Broomholda? Very well. Henceforth you shall be known as such, and with your title comes responsibilities." He said, smugly. From that day forth, Broomholda stood at the ready, holding the royal broom so as to never let it drop and ruin the monarch's food.
