I fixed my cheap broom's broken cap by turning it into a CAD design from scratch. The original was shorter and had a concave curve under the hanging slot, but I changed it to convex for no specific reason. If the hole is slightly too small, simply adjust the slicer settings to scale the X and Y axes by a small margin, such as 1.01 or 1%.
