<p>A handle that can be inserted in standard european broom head with a tapered thread to convert it into a brush to use with a dustpan.</p> <p><u><b>EDIT</b></u>: since the connector piece broke twice already, I redesigned it as a two piece part, connector_thread and connector_shaft. They need to be glued together just as the handle shells and the core.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><h5>Printing</h5><ul> <li>Print the core part with support and clean the edges, print the grip shells <em>(should work fine without support, there is enough clearance provided in the design)</em> and use some glue to permantely fix the shells to the core.</li> <li>Print the connector thread <em>(upright with the hole up)</em> and shaft <em>(laying down on the long side for more strength)</em> and glue them together too.</li> <li>I used two component epoxy glue.</li> </ul> <h5>Assembly</h5><ol> <li>First you fit the connector into the broom head until you are satisfied with the fit. </li> <li>Then you can adjust the angle thanks to the star-shaped design of the handle. </li> <li>Fix with glue or, to be more flexible, with a M3 nut and bolt. </li> <li><em>???</em> </li> <li>Enjoy.</li> </ol>
