Broom Holder
thingiverse
This is a broom holder based on the Command Strip version by 3M that sells for about 5 bucks. It is different in the following ways: 1. It uses screws instead of command strips for mounting. 2. It has a flexible insert made of TPU instead of silicone because silicone is not printable. 3. The frame is made of PETG, but PLA should work. Print the Insert with TPU. Print the frame and (2) pins with anything rigid, I used PETG. The holes are sized for #8 drywall screws. This was designed and tuned for a broom handle that is 21mm diameter. If your handle is significantly different, just scale all components the same to compensate. The insert differs from the 3M part because TPU behaves differently from silicone. It took six prototypes before I was happy. The frame is different from the 3M part to take advantage of FDM vs. injection molding and to add screw holes.
