Broom Head to Handle Adapter
prusaprinters
Broke my broom, designed the part, printed the part. Fits a hollow metal 1 inch handle, and used a U.S. standard of ¾ -5 ACME threads. Two holes in the side are for a ¼ inch bolt or rivet or your method of attachment. For me personally it was a tight enough fit that I didn't need any extra hardware. I also increased the overall size where I could to add a little strength to the part to compensate for the difference in an injection molded part compared to a printed part.Prints fine without support in PLA and PETG. The threads sag a little for me but doesn't remove any functionality. I used 100% infill for both materials and everything worked ok. This was modeled specifically for my broom head I bought at a local Walmart and may not fit other brooms.
