Broom stick attachment for a sponge holder. Makes cleaning a bathtub easier on the back. ## Why I wanted an easier way to clean the bath tub without having to bend down. I hope, this makes my back hurt less. For my personal taste, it's easier to have to bottom part a bit smaller than the sponge. That avoids scratching the bathtub when cleaning the curves. Doesn't matter too much if used on flat surfaces. ## Design Details It's similar to these floor wiping things. That was the inspiration for that. It should take most common kitchen sponges. I hope that the wavy or spikey part will give the sponge more grip. Has an adapter for Vileda thread, also another different broom handle screw adapter. There are a few bottom version: * Sponge thing bottom 100x70 wavy.stl - with wavy bottom, 100x70mm. * Sponge thing bottom 50x70 flat.stl - quite small, 50x70mm, with rounded corners. Will probably have the edge of the sponge sticking out to the sides * Sponge thing bottom 50x70 spikes high.stl - with spikes on the bottom. Might need support when printed upright. * Sponge thing bottom 50x70 spikes shallow.stl - with spikes on bottom. Spikes are shorter to make sure that no support is needed when printing the spikes. This is the bottom part in the pictures. ## Print Instructions Select the broom screw you need. Either Vileda screw or the other one. Print like shown in screenshot. Ignore the model error form CURA. It seem to print fine. Use supports. 'Lines' Support recommended due to screw. Maybe needs brim bed adhesion for bottom part. Part lift doesn't impede the function but might print better. ## Assembly Instructions

Print out parts and remove all support structures carefully

Insert Mid into top part and fix with screw

Fnsert bottom part into mid and fix with screw

done.

Maybe I will make a pictured assembly manual later. ### Materials Needed * 2x M3x30 screws * 2x M3 nut might also work with 3mm wood sticks. * Broom stick (All product links are MakerBot affiliate links.
