Broom handle hook

Broom handle hook

My mom has a super-cheap broom that she keeps in the shed for gardening, just like something you'd find at Walmart. The handle and hook hanger were always slipping off, so I glued it. However, the glue doesn't hold up to the extreme temperatures inside the metal shed, which can reach 120 degrees Fahrenheit or more on some days. I decided to design and print a new attachment for the broom. I also designed a replacement hook but didn't need to print it since the original one still works fine. When you take apart the old hanger, you'll find two rings at the top that hold it in place. Once printed, the new attachment simply fits onto the broom and over the original cap. The design is slightly shorter than the original due to the cap, but it gets the job done.
