To keep it stable, I pre-drilled two holes before securing it to the wall. The bracket can accommodate a standard 3/4" diameter rod. After identifying an ideal position, simply drill holes for the screws and hang up the accessory. Don't forget to print the provided template if desired at a 75% scale.
