Brooks Cane Sword - Soul Solid

This is my First design I have made completely from scratch.

I have been a One Piece fan ever since i was in college and i always thought Brooks Cane sword was cool.

As I'm Typing i just realized you could also use these files for Kisuke Uraharas cane sword from bleach if you'd like, just paint the scabbard a wood color instead. Also include the symbol he has on the bottom.

If using these file for a cosplay id recommend not walking with it as a cane. The sword should fit snug inside the scabbard however it would most likely slip out.

I thought about include a locking mechanism of sorts to prevent this but i wanted the finished product to look as clean as possible.

Id also recommend gluing on a piece of rubber or foam to the bottom of the scabbard to help protect it.

Assembly:

To assemble a full sized can sword you will need one of every part except for the Blade and Scabbard Middle. You will need 4 each of those.

I designed the scabbard with 2 - 4mm holes in it for 1/8" support rods. This will help with gluing and assembly.

The sword also has a 4mm hole in its core for a 1/8" support rod.

Size Details:

Overall Length (sword in scabbard) : 1125mm (44.3")
Sword Length : 1088mm (42.83")
Blade Length: 822 (32.36")
Handle Length: 277mm (10.9")
Handle Width: 149mm (5.86")
Handle Thickness: 38mm (1.5")
Scabbard Length: 846 mm (33.3")
