Bronze Woman

Bronze Woman

myminifactory

This sculpture of a bronze woman is situated at the entrance of Narodowe Museum in Warsaw. The modern sculpture clashes with the museum's need for such an exhibition in today's Warsaw, where a vast panorama of art can be displayed. In contrast to other collections in Warsaw that are either incomplete or still being developed, we have decided on a chronologically extensive show. The Gallery of 20th and 21st Century Art covers the entire past century, providing both Polish and foreign visitors with a comprehensive review of Polish art from that time. These works encapsulate not only changing aesthetics and creative aspirations, but also a kaleidoscope of voices, attitudes, and emotions specific to the entire past century. It's essential to note just how dramatic this period was for the world and Poland - from the rebirth of the Polish state in 1918, through the construction of the Second Republic, its downfall, and the devastating war that resulted in millions of lives lost, including the country's cultural elite and the Holocaust suffered by Polish Jews.
