Bronze Spear Point, Jebel al-Buhais, Sharjah
sketchfab
Socketed bronze spear point from the Jebel al-Buhais archaeological site in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This artifact dates back to the Bronze Age and specifically to the Wadi suq Period, spanning 2000-1300 BCE. It bears a striking resemblance to Catalog Number EXS 41, as illustrated in Córdoba 2016:60, Figure 47, alongside Catalog Number EXS 40. The spear point has undergone extensive processing in Reality Capture, involving alignment, scaling, modeling, cleaning, simplification, unwrapping, texturing, and meshing. This comprehensive treatment has resulted in a completely processed model. This information is sourced from the book "Horizontes de la Edad del Bronce (3000-1300 a.C.)" by J. Mª Córdoba, published on pages 37-64 of the volume "EN LOS CONFINES DE ORIENTE PRÓXIMO: El hallazgo moderno del país de Magán". The book is part of the catalog for an exhibition held at the Museo Arqueológico Nacional from April 18 to May 29, 2016. The curator of the exhibition was J. Mª Córdoba Zoilo, with C. del Cerro Linares, Mª C. Pérez Díe, and E. Pons Mellado serving as co-curators.
