In Greek mythology, a satyr(Greek σάτυρος sátyros) known as silenos(Greek σεληνος seilēnos) is a male nature spirit with ears and tail resembling those of a horse, plus a permanent, exaggerated erection. Initially artistic renderings included horse-like legs, but by the sixth century BC, they were often depicted with human legs. This character model adds charisma to the main game character when worn as an object.
