Bronze Housing for 'Kopriso Nixie Watch'

The design incorporates vintage 'steampunk' inspired cogwheel geometry, featuring intricately calculated gear tops created using Gibbscam, a CAM software for machinists. I deliberately designed the gears to have low height on the wheels as a deliberate feature, providing an excellent grip when held. If you look directly at the side of the watch, a prominent cogwheel geometry part protrudes from the base of the case and functions as lugs for the 24mm springbars. The threads inside the 'TOP' and outside the 'CASE' are custom-designed based on STUB ACME threads, with a pitch of 1.75 and a thread height of 0.5mm, making them extremely tiny yet incredibly strong. The Ultimaker printed these parts flawlessly after light sanding, while the parts from Shapeways featured perfectly aligned threads, requiring only minor adjustments to work the 'TOP' effectively and prevent moisture from entering the case. The 'TOP' is designed to securely press-fit a 45mm mineral glass (1mm thick) into place. A sealant/damper ring lies between the case and the top, effectively preventing moisture from entering the case and damaging the electronics inside. Nixie tubes require an impressive 180 volts DC to light up, so it's crucial to remove the watch before showering to avoid any potential damage. However, there are still some issues with integrating this design with the Kopriso nixie watch, primarily related to touch-sensitive buttons. To simplify the design and maintain a watertight case, I opted not to include these features for now. The watch is equipped with an IR+Motion sensor that triggers the clock display, allowing you to adjust parameters and screw the lid on to receive accurate time readings via motion. I have uploaded numerous photos of this project, including earlier prototypes, but unfortunately did not share the STL files due to their massive size (over 7GB) and the fact that there were over 30 revisions throughout the design process.
