
Bronze Bell / Tal-y-Bont Wreck Cannon

The historic TAL-Y-BONT WRECK, also known as BRONZE BELL WRECK, has been successfully recovered from its site of wreckage. This remarkable wreck is now safeguarded under the Protections of Wrecks Act 1973 as a designated Historic Wreck. Any form of diving, interference, filming, survey or excavation within the protected area of this designated wreck constitutes a serious criminal offense unless explicit permission has first been granted by the Welsh Assembly Government. The recovered cannon is currently on display in a private garden situated in Barmouth.
