Bronco Concept RC Body
pinshape
This is a 3D printable hard body designed specifically for an Axial SCX10 with a wheelbase of 290mm, but can easily be adapted to fit other platforms. The model was created after discovering existing CAD drawings of this truck and noticing that others had successfully produced printable versions - so I decided to create my own version. For the windows, you'll need .050 acrylic sheet, which is readily available at most local hardware stores. To assemble the parts, I recommend using DAP Rapid Fuse adhesive for a strong bond. Additionally, you'll require a piece of aluminum for the front body mounts unless you prefer an alternative mounting configuration. UPDATE: On December 26th, 2017, I made an update to include a rear tub and shell, which extends the body length to accommodate a wheelbase of 313mm. When it comes to 3D printing settings, supports are typically required for almost all parts. For larger components, I recommend using a .28 layer height, while smaller detailed parts can be printed at heights ranging from .12 to .20. A standard three-layer configuration (top, bottom, and sides) is also recommended.
