The tubes are 18 to 19 millimeter carbon fiber, bonded together with a strong epoxy adhesive. I printed the rack using thirty percent infill PLA filament. The edge of the mount cracked when I attempted to carry five to six kilograms on it. Maybe you can refine the design to make it stronger. I borrowed the original design from myminifactory.com, where it was listed as a 3D print for a Bromton front bike mount. The only weak point seems to be the mount itself.
