I've successfully designed a Brompton bike front mount using easy-to-print white PLA, perfectly suited for my trusty 2003 model. After a grueling 2000km bike tour from Hungary to London, it's proven itself capable of carrying around 20kg without any issues. What's more, I printed it face down with no supports needed, and achieved a smooth finish with a layer height of 0.2mm. The holes are carefully designed for aluminium inserts, which I fashioned from an old pipe measuring about 20mm in diameter.
