Brompton Cheesywheel
thingiverse
So I didn't get along with the printable roller for Brompton bikes that was already here, the O-ring kept falling off all the time because the groove for it wasn't deep enough, and they cracked easily due to the thin flange on the edge of the wheel. So I created these new things - really chunky 65mm wheels. I'm using 55mm ID, 65mm OD, 5mm O-rings with these. Most of the ring is inside the wheel, which prevents it from getting pulled out when sliding the wheel sideways as you turn corners on linoleum supermarket floors in shopping trolley mode. Please note that I designed the wheels to be slightly loose on the spacer and slightly narrower than the spacer so they roll easily even when the bolt is tightened up all the way. I may make one with a bearing later, but I'm going to test these ones for a few months first before making any future versions.
